This past weekend was Relay For Life at Penn 2008. The forecast called for rain, so they moved the event inside to the Palestra. Because of scheduling conflicts at the Palestra, the event was shortened to seven hours and went until 3am.

Despite the shortened event, the 1,800+ attendees at this year’s Relay all appeared to have a great time. Hats off to the Relay Committee for packing in a night of entertainment and activities while striking the balance with events to honor and remember the cancer survivors that we there to celebrate.

At the end of the night, the final tally was $165,770!
