My friend Kate introduced Flight of the Conchords to us this past summer. If you don’t know who they are, they’re New Zealand’s fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo. They were number three, but the tribute band ‘Like of the Conchords’ has taken over that spot. They have a show on HBO which highlights their efforts to make it big in New York, but really I think the following youtube clip sums up their act pretty well.
